Reception staff are a disgrace, 1 or 2 of them are nice and will try their best to help you but rest of them delight in making life a misery for everyone they come in contact with, one in particular heavy set lady receptionist with short dark hair is very very nasty and I have witnessed her near reduce a old gentleman to tears by her attitude and conduct, best way to describe it was aggressive and cruel...really don't know how she can get away with it as everyone knows how bad her attitude and behaviour is and many have complained about her and she still unfortunately has a job abusing people who are having a tough time already and only need to see a dr or sort a prescription out etc, this vile person should have been reprimanded many years ago and her treatment of patients should have been monitored to ensure she no longer acted in this manner, other receptionists and the practice manager should be held accountable as they clearly know what is going on and it has been allowed to continue, I sincerely hope that there is a investigation into this by the health board etc before this person causes someone serious harm, people have to understand that if someone for example with a mental illness needs to see a dr or requires help in some other manner and is subjected to the mistreatment I have described then there is a real risk to that patients health... quite frankly I am surprised this has not happened before now, perhaps it has and we just don't know, I am appalled by this situation and I personally have family who really don't want to contact the surgery because of her and that certainly should not be the case, if someone needs to see a dr they should not under any circumstances be put off by a bully receptionist, it is shocking especially when someone is concerned with a health issue, besides that it is almost impossible to get through on the phone and I myself have tried over 100 times today with no luck - not surprising really when you see them answer the phone and ask someone to "hold please" while they get back to their cup of tea or a personal conversation with another receptionist while you're on hold, I hope someone reads this and investigates these issues...don't take my word for it check it out and see for yourself and please act accordingly...SincerelyA concerned patient
Difficult to get appointments but find the device offered very good.
The staff were ok but a bit abrupt. They didn't take me anyway.
Had a ear infection since Friday saw a doctor on the Monday and Tuesday. Now the infection is going thank you all so much .sad o say customer service is lacking
Asked for an appointment to see the nurse for my son when i arrived for said appointment turned out that the appointment was for 1 of the receptionists and not the nurse! Since when did you have to make it clear that you would like to see a fully qualified and medically trained nurse and not a receptionist when making an appointment with a nurse, what next? They might as well send all Dr's and nurses home as the receptions clearly think that can do their jobs for them without the years of university and training. Complaint will be sent to both the practice manager and NHS. this surgery needs to be investigated and soon!
